We are happy to invite you to our upcoming duo-show of the artists Brishty Alam and Matthew Verdon. Formed into a soft mass overlays two sculptural and installative practices combining their bodily as well as their functional capacities. Therefore the two positions evolve from (counter-) perspectives on environmental, chemical and synthetical approaches as a stance on their exemplary operational mode. Ideas of modeled environmental perceptions act as combinatory force, strengthening each others diverging focal points throughout the collaboration....

Brishty Alam (GB) lives and works in Vienna. Exhibitions include the group shows Stoff Band Nacht (2017) at Kunsthaus Hamburg (DE), Territories (2016) at Galerie der HFBK Hamburg (DE) and Appendix at the Medical Museum, Pleven (BGR).

Matthew Verdon (AUS) lives and works in London. Exhibitions include the group shows Rencontres Internationales (2018) at Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin (DE) as well as at Le Carreau du Temple, Paris (FR), Building Your Partner Ecosystem: Who Are Your Potential Ecosystem Partners? at Serf, Leeds (UK) and the solo show Thermo-hysteresis (2017) at Quick Millions, London (UK).
