End Gallery presents new work by Salzburg based artists Stefan Heizinger, Bernd Rohrauer and Elisabeth Schmirl, in their first UK show

Sheffield will become the foreign destination where the artists will parody a 'game'.

Using a set of fabricated personalities characters and idiosyncrasies selected at random, they will attempt to slip their familiar identities and assume new ones under which to explore the city and produce artwork. This process will be mirrored in an evolving and expanding exhibition in the gallery....

Stefan Heizinger, Bernd Rohrauer und Elisabeth Schmirl entwerfen während ihres Arbeitsaufenthalts in Sheffield Alternativmodelle zu ihrer gelebten Identität. Sie nehmen fiktive Künstlerpersönlichkeiten an, entwickeln ein mehrdimensionales räumliches Geflecht, das eben diese Identitätskonstruktionen vorstellt und als personale Kartografien erlebbar macht.
