Painting and drawing   Siegfried Anzinger *1953, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts Düsseldorf. We show the painting Madonna with child 1995 and a choice of small works on paper, item Erotic. Erwin Bohatsch *1951, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. We show recent oil on canvases as well as from the 1990ies.

Highlight   Herbert Brandl *1959, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts Düsseldorf will represent Austria at Biennale di Venezia 2007. On our stand: two big landscape-like paintings from 2004 and 2005 as well as smaller paintings. Gunter Damisch *1958, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. We bring on our stand recent small paintings. Günther Förg *1952, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich, is actually on show at our gallery Bilder Paintings 1977-2007 and together with Brandl, West a.o. in the exhibition Anos 80: UMA TOPOLOGIA at Museu Serralves, Porto. Showing recent paintings at Arco. Leiko Ikemura *1951 The japanese artist widly shown in important museums worldwide is professor at the Academy of Fine Arts Berlin. We bring a rare portrait from 2006 and a serie of recent drawings. Arnulf Rainer *1929  is one of the outstanding personalities as actionist and painter after 1945. We remind his remarkable exhibition Rainer/Roth at the Sala de Exposiciones Alcalà 31, Madrid and his solo show at our booth Austria at Arco ’06. This year we bring Face farces from the 1970ies and recent paintings from the Kristall- and Mikrokosmos-Makrokosmos-cycle. Walter Vopava *1948 is well know since his show China retour in the most important museums in China and at MUMOK Vienna together with Brandl, Bohatsch, Damisch and Zitko. We exhibit new large paintings. Otto Zitko *1959 since the early 1990ies did numerous large, all over space drawings in museums and private collections worldwide, some of them are permanently. We bring drawing-paintings on aluminium board.

Photography   Clegg & Guttmann *1957, shown last summer together with Franz West in the exhibition DER FICKER at Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, did extraordinary landscape photography referring to historical flame landscape painting in Ostende/Belgium. This recent Clegg & Guttmanns landscape photography is very different to the contemporary tendence of poster landscape photography. We present some at Arco. Georges Rousse *1947 His photography of spaces and buildings seems manipulated but is real: Rousse does big installations with drawing, painting and architecture on the places and in the spaces and buildings. The photography is the final act of his examination with two- and three dimensional perception. We show Grand Moulin 7 from 2006. Erwin Wurm *1954 is actually represented in the very successful solo-exhibition at MUMOK Vienna. At our stand: four piece C-print Be a Terrorist. Instructions on how to be politically incorrect, 1999.

Sculpture   Thomas Feuerstein *1968 The work by the young multimedia concept artist Thomas Feuerstein - for many still an insiders' tip, for others already a coming star - is characterised by a bold and critical reference to social problems. At Arco ’06 we presented at our general booth the big scale red sculpture Fist - Bodyless Organ. This year we will show Hypophyse HpHHHHfrom the same serie and small scaled C-prints Amnesie International. Bruno Gironcoli *1936 Having been professor and head of the sculpture school at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna 1977-2004 he was most influencing for a whole generation of sculptors, among them his scholars Franz West and Hans Schabus. The impressive installation of his big scale sculptures at the Austrian Pavillion Biennale di Venezia 2003, curated by Kasper König, emphasized his significance as one of the most important contemporary sculptors. We show one of his small sculptures Androgyn (Highlight!) and works on paper. Michael Kienzer *1962 His artistic strategy is a kind of conspiracy. He explores the potential for aesthetic transformation inherent in all things and confronts spatial and social systems of reference with his own art. At Arco: the high sculpture I did it, made of wine bottles. Franz West *1947, one of the most important artists of our time as for three decades now his oeuvre has had a major influence on the development of contemporary art. We show sculptures and Passstücke from the 1980ies as well as recent collages. Highlight   Franz West/Herbert Brandl Untitled (Passstücke, 3 parts), 1988, papier-mâché painted, each diameter c. 47 cm.
