A specific master painting will be described (by painter Johannah Silva) into a text description. Once complete she will deliver this to the gallery (by Sunday).

This description will be read off to a room full of painters who will work live in the gallery to resurrect the painting from the text. Two painters will be canvas-stretched into the front gallery windows, two painters in the front gallery and two more painters in the back gallery. Textual Mastercopy will take place on October 28, 2007, from 6-11pm.
