VERSUS is an artist in residence project that promotes the contact of artists working in Vienna with those from abroad. Four times annually, Kforumvienna write out an artist in residence program. Artists from different art sections are selected - partly from Austria, partly from the rest of the world - which work with different media, but to the same topic.
Under the theme “mapping the city” the Italian/Spanish art group Elastic Group of Artistic Research (Alexandro Ladaga and Silvia Manteiga) and the Viennese artist Wendelin Pressl develop their work during two weeks, which were presented in the Kforumvienna atelier in the end.... There two positions are a confrontation with the given theme with different approach and techniques, pointing out diverse possibilities of moving towards the topic.
