This collection of artworks draw together ideas about identity, environment and landscape, and in this sense seek to reflect some of the themes one might encounter when considering the 1300-year history of Fulham Palace and its grounds.
While at first glance many of the works are seemingly abstract, with a second closer look one can discern quite easily the form of, for example, a child's face, a figure from religious history or an ancient tree. Many of the images portray entire landscapes, while others seek to subtly show figures coming into view, perhaps cloaked, winged or crowned....
