MAUVE at POPPOSITIONS. The One Who Yawns

Since its inaugural show in 2012, MAUVE’s mission has been to explore various ways of curating, thereby connecting the artistic scene in Vienna to the rest of the world. Always closely collaborating with the artists involved in the exhibitions, MAUVE strives to bring artistic production, discourse and various modes of curating closer together. The MAUVE team creates their program in relationship to their own artistic practice. The exhibitions MAUVE curates take place both in its space in Vienna as well as other locations internationally.... MAUVE is Titania Seidl and Lukas Thaler.

For their show at Poppositions, MAUVE has composed a cycle of three interlocking solo exhibitions. Each of the shows is synched with the other two in the space, each work has its designated place. Not all the works will be visible at once, however, as the overall presentation will change over time, works being placed, taken down, and again replaced.
