Photographs at the Kunsthal Rotterdam The larger-than-life black and white photographs in Jaro's series "Embracing" show people who are at the same time ordinary and extraordinary. The relationship these people have with each other is a tender one, their sexual identity and position undefined. Their stage poses indicate a certain ceremonial purpose.
