Note
Installation at the Natural History Museum By means of a pair of tropical parrots called "lovebirds" Matt Collishaw shows us a pseudo-experiment in behavioural science. The lovebird is a species that leads a life-long monogamous relationship and cannot live without the partner. In Collishaw's installation, which is partially based on the painting "The Arnolfini Portrait" by Jan van Eyck, the birds can see their deformed reflection in a convex mirror (Text: Maifesta)
