Installation at Witte de With, Center for Contemporary Art The artist and confronts the viewer with contemporary social problems. The phenomena of exclusion in our so-called "open" society, is his central subject. Combining images from mass media with his own texts he investigates the term "navigation": sailing, shipping, travel, traffic, exile and navigation as metaphors for trade, war and imperialism.
