Ibrahim Abdullah studied history at the University of Toronto, Canada. He has taught at universities in Africa and North America and has widely published in the area of African social and labour history. His current research project ”Subalternity, Insurgency and Post-conflict Strategy: An Alternative Reading of the Sierra Leonean Conflict” is being funded by the Social Science Research Council in New York.
