Manuel de Landa ist Autor der drei philosophischen Werke “War in the Age of Intelligent Machines” (1991), “A Thousand Years of Nonlinear History” (1997) und “Intensive Science and Virtual Philosophy” (2002) sowie einer Vielzahl philosophischer Aufsätze, die in verschiedenen Zeitschriften erschienen. Er leitet zwei Seminare an der Columbia University School of Architecture: “Philosophy of History: Theories of Self-Organization and Urban Dynamics” und “Philosophy of Science: Thinking About Structures and Materials”.
