Lindsay Bremner is currently Chair of Architecture at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Cape Town, a Masters of Architecture from the University of Witwatersrand and is currently registered for a Senior Doctorate at the same University. Bremner has contributed to a number of conferences and has been invited to lecture in Argentina, Cuba, Germany, South Africa, and Turkey. She has published widely and is the co-editor of the forthcoming book Emerging Johannesburg.... From 1993 to 1997, she served on the Executive Committee of the Greater Johannesburg Metropolitan Council, during which time she chaired the Planning, Housing, Urbanisation, and Environmental Management Committees.
