The group exhibition almost is an open invitation to question the conventional understanding of ‘being successful’ as an individual practice and instead explore it as a societal condition, shaped by its underlying logics, everyday manifestations, and possible detours. Swinging back and forth between labor and leisure, aspiration and exhaustion, subject and society, and – ultimately – success and failure, almost plays with the painfully familiar tension of (un)becoming in a system that never stops performing.

* The exhibition will be open to visitors from 18.02.2025. However, during its first month the show will function as an evolving space, challenging the concept of an exhibition as a final product and actively transforming through workshops and participative performance. There will not be a usual opening. Instead, we invite you on 21.03.2025 to the ‘almost-opening’ (or, in more professional terms, the ‘Midissage’) and to the first OPEN STUDIOS with the new artists at STUDIO DAS WEISSE HAUS.
