N-O-S-W, (N Norden, O Ost, S Süden, W Westen), in dieser Reihenfolge werden von Graz ausgehend vier Routen in die Himmelsrichtungen geschlagen. 2006 vom Institut für Kunst im öffentlichen Raum ins Leben gerufen, finden die vier sonntäglichen Rundfahrten statt.

Im Vordergrund steht die Vermittlung permanenter und temporärer Kunstprojekte, die das Institut initiiert oder begleitet hat, darüber hinaus stehen auch historische Kunstwerke des öffentlichen Raumes im Fokus und es werden Fragen zu ihrer Repräsentationsfunktion und der gesellschaftlichen Interaktion aufgeworfen.

Launched in 2006 by the Institute for Art in Public Space Styria, the four Sunday discovery tours are taking place for the ninth time. The emphasis is on educating people about the permanent and temporary art projects that the institute has initiated or accompanied. Historical works of art in public space are likewise in focus and questions are raised about their representative function and social interaction.
