Valerie Habsburg, Judith Augustinovic. ARCHIVAL GARDEN / Garden of Fictions

– Botanická zahrada / Botanical garden (Veranstaltungsort), Vídeň v Olomouci / Vienna in Olomouc, galerie xy

The artists question archival material that is no longer needed, that is made to disappear. They erect an archive in the garden and in this way question it. What are the stories that we cannot read? What do the seemingly empty file folders tell us? They are given over to nature. An archival memorial to the facts we must not forget, and to a possible tomorrow growing in the garden in Olomouc. ARCHIVAL GARDEN / Garden of Fictions was created during Artist Residency 2023 at Gallery XY Olomouc.
