The large-format photographic series by Austrian visual artist Johanna Tinzl reflects on the life of Helga Pollak-Kinsky who was deported to the Terezín ghetto during the war together with her father, the owner of the famous Viennese café Palmhof. The project consists of a series of 9 photographs and was conceived in 2016. It was presented significantly during the Covid-19 pandemic, bringing back into public space the human body, specifically that of women and advanced age, and themes associated with the dramatic 20th century. The opening will take place in the presence of the author.
