Description

Albert Dietrich *1997 in Hamburg, studied Fine Arts at Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main with Monika Baer and Amy Sillman.

Dietrich’s work extends from intuitive methods applied to sculpture and painting. Via the inclusion of salvaged furniture pieces, he assembles installations in which paintings are informed by auxiliary entities. The combination of mediums, of material referents, and the interplay of new and aged textures, produces ahistorical tableaus, with indeterminate subjects. His work was shown in exhibitions

including Neue Alte Brücle, Kunstverein Braunschweig and City Galerie Wien.

Serious Cubism is Dietrichs first solo exhibition with the gallery.
