Person Tarwuk
Description
TARWUK is Bruno Pogačnik Tremow and Ivana Vukšić, united as a single entity. Born in former Yugoslavia, the duo came of age in the backdrop of indeterminacy and violence precipitated by the Yugoslav Wars of the 1990s. Armed conflict and civil resistance was widespread; borders were continuously redrawn with each new act of ethnic cleansing. Identity became an itinerant category.
